JOB TITLE - JIGS & FIXTURE ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop jigs and fixtures tailored for wire harness manufacturing processes to improve accuracy and reduce cycle time.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify areas where jigs and fixtures can enhance productivity and product quality.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prototype testing to ensure effectiveness of the designed jigs and fixtures.
- Create detailed drawings and technical documentation using CAD software.
- Oversee the fabrication and assembly of jigs and fixtures, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality control standards.
- Analyze production workflows and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff on the proper use of jigs and fixtures.
- Continuously assess performance and make modifications to existing jigs and fixtures as needed.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technology to incorporate best practices.
