Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented and creative Jewellery Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing exquisite gold, precious stones and diamond jewellery, with a strong emphasis on creating innovative and captivating patterns.

Key Responsibilities:

Conceptualization: Develop innovative and original jewellery designs, incorporating gold and precious stones, that align with current market trends and customer preferences.

Sketching: Produce detailed and accurate sketches of jewellery designs, showcasing the vision and aesthetic of the piece.

Pattern Creation: Design and create intricate patterns for gold and diamond jewellery, ensuring they are visually appealing and structurally sound.

CAD Proficiency: Utilize CAD software, such as Coral Draw, to generate technical drawings and renderings of jewellery designs.

Collaboration: Work closely with CAD team, craftsmen and artisans to ensure that the designs are executed flawlessly and meet the highest quality standards.

Technical Specifications: Create the technical specifications to ensure seamless execution.

Market Research: Stay updated on the latest jewellery trends, materials, and techniques to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications and Skills

Proven experience as a Jewelry Designer with a strong portfolio of work.

Excellent creative skills and a passion for jewelry design.

Proficiency in using CAD software, e.g. Coral Draw.

Strong understanding of gold and diamond properties, as well as jewellery-making techniques.

Ability to visualize and translate design concepts into tangible products.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Additional Preferred Qualifications (Optional)

Gemological knowledge and certifications (e.g., GIA).

Experience working with precious metals and gemstones.

Knowledge of jewellery manufacturing processes.
