nJob Description


nVersion 1 is currently seeking an Indian based JD Edwards CNC Consultant to join our team. This job will be within the managed service team at Version 1, and it is focussed on the support of JDE Edwards software applications for multiple clients in the UK and Canada. The primary role will be within the managed service and the candidate will be expected to be able to manage tickets within the managed service for various issues with key skills being the ability to manage and administrate JDE environments with tasks such as system checks, package builds, patches and upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support to end-users. The candidate should also be prepared to work 2pm-12am GMT to support our clients.

nResponsibilities

  • nMonitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to CNC (Configurable Network Computing) tasks.
  • nSupport users in resolving technical problems and answer inquiries related to JD Edwards functionality.
  • nPerform regular system maintenance tasks, including applying patches, updates, and fixes.
  • nCollaborate with developers and functional consultants to implement customizations and enhancements.
  • nCreate and maintain documentation related to CNC procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • nParticipate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and understanding of JD Edwards modules.
  • nAssist in implementing security measures and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • nSupport data management tasks, data migrations and SQL scripts
  • nStay updated with the latest JD Edwards releases, features, and best practices

nnQualifications

  • nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • n3-5 years of hands-on JD Edwards CNC exposure and IT/Helpdesk support professional experience.
  • nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • nAbility to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • nWillingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
  • nAttention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
  • nBasic understanding of database management systems such as Oracle and SQL
  • nExperienced in administration and support of WebLogic middleware and JDE BSSV
  • nKnowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems is preferable.
  • nFamiliarity with OCI Cloud is a plus.
