Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Java Web Developer at Workassist in Pune. The Java Web Developer will be responsible for back-end web development, web development, software development, and programming tasks using object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. Day-to-day tasks will involve coding, testing, and debugging to create functional web applications.

Preferred for Wiring harness industry who have experience in machine maintenance

Qualifications required

1. Degree or Diploma (preferably Mechanical or Electrical),
2. 2 years or more experience in crimping machine maintenance,
3. 4 years or more experience in sales or support of capital equipment (machinery)

Key mandatory personal traits required:

1. Should be hands-on
2. Able to work with Japanese people by matching their hard work, teamwork, and professional ethics
3. Loyalty to employer and utmost care to achieve customer satisfaction at all times
4. Should be able to travel to client locations anywhere in India on short notice
5. Should be able to travel to Japan or other company locations worldwide wherever required
6. Should commit to long-term employment with the company

Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of Automatic crimping machines and related machinery sold Indian market
2. Provide pre-sales technical support to distributors

Qualifications

• Back-End Web Development, Web Development, and Software Development skills
• Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Experience with Java, Spring framework, and web technologies
• Knowledge of databases and SQL
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
