Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership:Oversee the full lifecycle of the project from inception through deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Technical Oversight:Provide expert technical direction in Java development, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability of software solutions.
- Architectural Guidance:Design and implement robust, secure, and scalable architectures tailored to BFSI needs.
- Team Management:Lead, mentor, and guide a team of developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Risk and Issue Management:Proactively identify project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure seamless project progression.
- Code Quality:Implement and enforce best practices for coding standards, code reviews, and automated testing to maintain high-quality codebases.
- Agile Methodologies:Champion Agile and Scrum practices, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to enhance team productivity and project delivery.
- Technological Advancement:Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in Java and BFSI, integrating relevant advancements into project development.
Qualifications:
- Experience:Proven leadership experience in managing complex projects within the BFSI sector.
- Technical Expertise:Extensive hands-on experience with Java, including frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.
- Software Development:Strong background in software development methodologies, including object-oriented design, design patterns, and data structures.
- Project Management:Demonstrated ability in project management, with a focus on delivering high-quality, on-time software solutions.
- Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Educational Background:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
