We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant Specialist
In this role, you will:
. The associate will be work closely with BB UK business stakeholders, Business transformation teams and technology architects to design optimum technology solution.
. The associate will guide and coach cross functional pods to make sure that the standards and guidelines for IT development is adhered to.
. Work closely with architects, business analysts and component leads during discovery and elaboration phase to ensure the solution is technically feasible
. Be the point of contact of any consultation required by PODs for execution of proof of concepts
. Liaise with multiple downstream team, AIM team to set design standards and review the same periodically
. Drive PODs to maintain engineering related defects to a minimum.
. Always be in touch with industry trends and bring in best practices to keep the engineering process relevant and effective.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
. 12 years or more overall IT experience with Knowledge Java, Cloud technologies such as GCP and AWS
. Integration Experience and working knowledge of Microservices based architecture.
. Experience on Web Services (REST, SOAP).
. Knowledge of XML, JSON and Swagger.
. Skills and capabilities in API Architecture and API Engineering with in-depth knowledge of key technologies such as REST, API Gateways and Management Platforms, Cloud-native stack, etc. Expert in RAML and OAS languages. Expertise in using Springboot to build and design APIs is recommended
. Must have good understanding cloud technologies such as BigQuery, storage buckets, cloud vision, stackdriver, Dataflow , Cloud SQL and Jenkins pipelines or similar technologies.
. Good understanding of python, flask and related commonly used python packages specially with GCP.
. Proven ability to define and build architecturally sound solution designs
. Must have the ability to understand and develop the logical flow of applications on technical code level.
. Proven ability to define and build architecturally sound solution designs Behavioural
. Good analysis and trouble shooting skills
. Good interpersonal and communication skills as he/she has to work in global environments.
. Demonstrated ability to rapidly build relationships with key stakeholders
. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team and in global environments
. Should be proactive, have learning attitude & adjust to work in dynamic work environments.
. Demonstrated ability to lead and coach technologically as well as geographically diverse teams
