Job Title: Java Spring Boot Lead

Seeking a Java Technical Lead who has hands-on expertise on Java Spring Boot. This positions primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate day-to-day deliverables for the team. The candidate will assist in the technical design of large business systems; build applications, and interfaces between applications, and understand data security, retention, and recovery. The candidate should provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of Java developers. The candidate should be able to research technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions & should contribute to technology-specific best practices & standards; contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including, reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability and scalability; contribute expertise on significant application components, program languages, databases, operating systems, etc., and guides/mentors the team during the build and test phases.

Basics Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent required from an accredited institution.
• At least 6 years of Information Technology experience.

Must have skills:

• At least 6 years of experience in Information Technology using Java stack - in design, development and triaging for large, complex IT systems, with experience in Java and object-oriented design.
• Experience in Java 8 and above, REST, Spring boot, Microservices, Spring Security, SQL, Maven/Gradle, MySQL, SQL Server.
• Experience in AWS.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum, DevOps CI-CD pipeline.
• Experience in Agile ways of working.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Experience working in a Global delivery environment.
• Ready to overlap with client/onsite team till 11 am EST. The client is located in the US EST Time Zone.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team of software developers.
• Provide thought leadership in terms of architecture/design/development.
• Provide guidance and support to the team in troubleshooting and debugging technical problems.
