Role Description

This is a remote contract role for a Java Software Engineer at Altezzasys INC. The Java Software Engineer will be responsible for software development, working with microservices, programming, utilizing the Spring Framework, and Java development on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

• Lead backend API development and engage in solution design.
• Work on user entitlement/authorization framework
• Engage with various consumers to understand requirements and provide design recommendations.
• Utilize Java, Design patterns, and Data structures effectively.
• Participate in scrum meetings and deliver features within committed timelines.
• Build solutions using AWS PaaS/SaaS components such as Lambda, ECS containers, and RDS DBs (e.g., Postgres, DynamoDB)
• Implement message brokers such as AWS SQS, AWS SNS, and Kinesis
• Design and develop RESTful APIs
• Write API proxies on platforms like AWS API Gateway
• Utilize API tools such as Swagger and Postman
• Implement Cucumber test framework for Developers.
• Utilize CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure Devops
• Work within an Agile framework, preferably Scrum
