Java developer

Description

We are looking for a Java developer with 6-15 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Java programming language, as well as experience in developing web applications using Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate. The candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
• Prepare and produce releases of software components
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• 6-15 years of experience in Java development
• Strong understanding of Java programming language and its core libraries
• Experience in developing web applications using Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs
• Experience in developing and integrating with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience in working with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
