Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer for a 3-month contract to join our dynamic team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and the development of RESTful APIs. You will play a critical role in developing, testing, and implementing backend services, ensuring the highest level of performance and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Implement authentication and authorization solutions using OAuth and JWT.
- Work with relational and non-relational databases, focusing on PostgreSQL.
- Develop and maintain backend test suites using JUnit or similar testing frameworks.
- Architect and develop Microservices to support scalable applications.
- Integrate message queuing systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka for asynchronous communication.
- Work with AWS Cloud services for deploying and maintaining applications.
- Use Docker for containerization of applications and manage deployment.
- Ensure high levels of data security, utilizing encryption and hashing techniques.
Technical Skills & Qualifications:
- 4.5+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
- Experience with OAuth, JWT, and other authentication mechanisms.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL and knowledge of NoSQL databases (advantageous).
- Experience with backend testing frameworks like JUnit.
- Knowledge of Microservices architecture and principles.
- Experience with message queuing systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud Platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization.
- Strong understanding of encryption and hashing techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of additional cloud platforms and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and agile development methodologies.
