• Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Java Developers for a contract position to join our dynamic team at Chennai. The ideal candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in Java development with a strong focus on various frameworks and technologies.

• Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Java-based applications using Spring MVC Framework

• 0 and Spring Boot 2.0.
• Design and implement RESTful services and web services.

Write unit tests using JUnit and ensure high-quality code.

• Configure and deploy applications on web servers such as Tomcat or WebLogic.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Work with SQL databases for data persistence and retrieval.

Apply design patterns and best practices to ensure scalable and maintainable code.

• Primary Skill Set (MUST):

Java: Proficiency in Java programming.

Design Patterns: Understanding and application of design patterns.Servlets/JSP: Experience with Java Servlets and JSP.

• Spring MVC Framework 5.0: Hands-on experience with Spring MVC.

Spring Boot 2.0: Proficiency in using Spring Boot for application development.

RESTful Services: Experience in creating and consuming RESTful services.JUnit: Strong knowledge of unit testing with JUnit.

• Web Server (Tomcat/WebLogic, etc.): Experience in configuring and deploying on web servers.

Webservices: Knowledge of web services (SOAP/REST).

SQL: Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills.

• Secondary Skill Set (Preferred / Nice to Have):

Web Server Config & Deployment: Experience in configuring and deploying web servers.

• Maven/Gradle: Knowledge of build tools like Maven or Gradle.

Unix: Familiarity with Unix-based operating systems.

Ant: Experience with Apache Ant build tool.Git: Proficiency in using Git for version control.

• Agile: Experience working in Agile development environments.
