The primary delivery for the developer will be to build reusable APIs on Polestar Integration technologies such as AWS MSK for Kafka, AWS EventBridge, Lambdas using Java and MuleSoft.
Experience with SOAP, REST, XML, WSDL, XSD, and JSON formats.
Experience working with object-oriented programming languages, preferably Java.
Hands on AWS experience in API Gateway, AWS Lambda, Terraform, EC2, IAM, Cognito and IaC (Infrastructure as Code), AWS MSK(Kafka) AWS MirrorMaker 2.0 (MM2) and Schema management using AWS Glue.
Hands-on experience communicating with the AWS MSK Kafka Cluster via Kafka CLI
Experience working with event-driven architecture using AWS SNS, SQS, S3 and EventBridge.
Experience working with real-time data streams using AWS Kinesis and AWS Kinesis Firehose.
Experience working with NAT gateways, VPN, TGW and VPC in AWS.
Experience working with AWS CloudWatch and external logging on Datadog or Splunk or equivalent.
Experience with Maven, GitHub workflows and GitHub actions.
