The role:

The Workflow System Engineer role offers a unique opportunity to contribute and grow your talents at SGS. Every day will be different, working on a diverse range of projects, technologies, and customers ensuring that the design and implementation solutions and workflows are aligned with enterprise guidelines, standards, and validated approaches.

In this role, you will focus on supporting the production needs and processes, analysis workshops, business process optimizations, and building configured workflows and integrations using Esko Automation Engine and other solutions.

Your Education and/or Background Experience will include:

Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent professional qualification)

Developer Experience/knowledge in Esko software (Automation Engine) is essential along with experience in Packaging is considered a plus.

Knowledgeable of Azure API & services, Machine learning, basic to general knowledge of programming, development, and deployment practices experience is a plus

5 years experience (or equivalent) in areas such as but not limited to:

Prepress/print production workflows and processes Business process, asset management technology solution architecture, ideally in a marketing or packaging domain

Providing software and/or services to consumer goods, pharmaceutical, or retail customers

Software user training (e.g. workflow building, system configuration, system admin)

Javascript, Python, and SQL knowledge / experience a plus

Other technical services domains (e.g. application engineering, enterprise-level software installation)

Proficient in English, both written and spoken. Additional languages are appreciated.
