We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient IT Technical Screener to join our dynamic team.
- Position Overview: The IT Technical Screener will be responsible for evaluating and screening candidates for technical positions within. This role involves assessing candidates technical skills, experience, and fit for specific job requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for identifying top talent.
Conduct technical screenings of candidates to assess their qualifications, technical skills, and experience.
- Utilize technical assessment tools and methods to evaluate candidates proficiency in relevant technologies and programming languages.
Review and analyze resumes and technical portfolios to identify potential candidates.
- Conduct in-depth technical interviews to evaluate candidates problem-solving abilities, coding skills, and technical knowledge.
Provide detailed feedback and recommendations based on screening results.
Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand the specific technical requirements of open positions.- Communicate effectively with candidates, providing them with information about the recruitment process and next steps.
Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure a seamless candidate experience.
- Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate evaluations and screening results in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Generate reports and provide insights on candidate pipelines, screening outcomes, and technical assessments.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in technical screening and recruitment.
- Continuously improve screening processes and assessment methodologies to enhance the quality of candidate evaluations.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, AWS, Cisco) are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a technical screening, IT recruitment, or a similar role. Hands-on experience in software development, IT infrastructure, or technical support is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in various programming languages, software development frameworks, and IT tools. Knowledge of common technical assessment tools and platforms.Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to evaluate candidates technical abilities and match them to job requirements.
