Job Purpose:
The Team Lead, Technical & Operational Activities is responsible for ensuring that the companys mission-critical cloud and on premises infrastructure and associated systems are available and properly functioning at all times.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Team Lead, Technical & Operational Activities is responsible for installing, configuring, and monitoring the companies on premises and cloud infrastructure with a heavy focus on Microsoft Technologies and supporting infrastructure requirements. This Team Member will be responsible for identifying technical deficiencies in designs, developing solutions, and driving them to completion. The Team Lead, Technical & Operational Activities is expected to perform all responsibilities with a commitment to providing superior service to the core Companys employees and maintaining an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement. The role involves working closely with various stakeholders to obtain and carry out company initiatives.
Key Responsibilities of this Position Include:
Systems Management & Engineering
- Manage various global, enterprise network topologies including designing, deploying, and maintaining on-premises and Cloud environments.
- Understand and Manage Wireless networks
- Design and deploy cloud infrastructure to support cloud migration and delivery of various technology solutions, including IaaS and PaaS models, using the full suite of Microsoft Azure resources.
- Ability to support, design, deploy, and manage Microsoft O365 Messaging and associated technologies.
- Ability to support and manage Office 365 users
- Ability to support, design, deploy, and manage OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Environments
- Ability to support and manage key services including but not limited to DNS, DHCP, File Services
- Ability to support, design, manage, and deploy Azure Solutions and Services
- Demonstrated knowledge Azure Virtual Machines and VDI solutions
- Demonstrated knowledge in the support of servers and operating systems Windows 2012 R2 and above
- Understanding of Azure Backup technologies
- Understanding of networking (IP, DHCP, DNS, data center switching)
- Ability to partner with Cybersecurity in Incident Response activities and identify root cause, patient zero, and assist with threat remediation
- Working knowledge or Windows PowerShell scripting experience
- Knowledge of Monitoring and Management Platforms for Event Management
Knowledge, Skills, Ability, and Technical Experience:
- Able to be both customer facing and technically focused, managing expectations while delivering quality results and well documented work products
- Ability to communicate technical strategies to business focused team members
- Advanced knowledge Microsoft Active Directory and ADFS, Azure Sync, Group Policy and PKI components
- Microsoft 365/Office 365 organization advanced management experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure IaaS technology
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server v. 2012 and above
- Knowledge of On-Premises Microsoft Virtual Desktop & Remote Desktop Server infrastructure
- Hands on Experience and Proficiency managing Azure IaaS Technologies including but not limited to Tenants, Subscriptions, EntraID, Networking, Virtual Machines, and Resource Groups
- Ability to design, deploy, manage, and maintain Firewalls, VPNs, and network switches
- Hands-on experience designing and building resilient modern technology infrastructure, including SASE and cloud architectures.
- 10+ years in-depth experience maintaining and supporting technology solutions that utilize technical skills described above
- 10+ years in-depth experience supporting and troubleshooting a multi-server windows On-Premises and Cloud Domain network environment
- Experience working directly with technical engineers and application owners as well as nontechnical end users
