General Summary
Assist in the design, integration and support of all networked computing systems that comprise the Center for Creative Leadership's (CCL) Corporate Information Systems. These information systems include Servers & Clients, Network connectivity including printing, and all associated application software and utilities. The System Engineer works closely with fellow Global Technology Team (GTT) engineers and anaylysts toward the resolution of incidents, service requests, and problems; the applications development and knowledge management groups in delivering and supporting Projects; and the Enterprise Infrastructure Manager to ensure the integrity of the corporate information systems.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide daily administration and support for a multi-server, multi-domain hybrid infrastructure platform.
- Monitor the Corporate Information Systems continuously to ensure their availability to support the CCL enterprise user community and to optimize current systems capabilities.
- Provide administration and administrative support for Active Directory and Azure Active Directory services.
- Provide administration and administrative support for endpoint management systems (NinjaOne, InTune) including patching/updates, alerting/monitoring, and system backups.
- Provide technical support to the User Support Analysts in the resolution of system and user anomalies. Provide second and third level problem analysis and resolution. Serve as a resource for GTT Internal and Enterprise projects initiated by any of the groups in GTT or CCL Campuses.
- Ensure the compatibility of all corporate information systems (software & hardware) in their ability to integrate with existing product lines.
- Perform Server and Workstation software upgrades including operating system service packs, version upgrades, application, and utility software.
- Perform Server and Workstation hardware upgrades including disks, memory, and peripheral devices.
- Assist in evaluating new applications and system software and its ability to perform in the CCL information systems environment.
- Provide technical support to the Microsoft Office suite in an enterprise environment.
- Provide technical training to peers and the general user community.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- 5+ Years systems management experience working with corporate client/server environments, including at least 2 years administering cloud enterprise infrastructure technologies and 2+ years administering virtualization.
- 5+ Years Active Directory/Azure Active Directory services administration.
- Experience with endpoint management systems, powershell scripting, RMM/NDR, and system backups.
- Experience in managing a corporate multi-domain Windows Information Systems Environment.
- Demonstrated ability to support Windows Server, Windows Workstation and associated applications in an enterprise environment.
- Technically proficient in the implementation TCP/IP, WINS, DHCP and DNS.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 Enterprise Application Suite and support in an enterprise environment.
- 3+ years of experience administering enterprise system backups.
- 2+ years of experience administering Remote Monitoring Management and Network Detection Response alerting, as in a NOC environment
- Customer service skills with the ability to work with the clients and customers in resolving problems.
- Ability and willingness to travel infrequently to remote sites.
- MCSE certification or working towards certification is preferred.
