The IT End User Support will be responsible for providing expert technical knowledge in the maintenance of endpoint devices and applications. The goal is to solve and troubleshoot technical issues in the end user support area and manage the resolution process.
The IT End User Support will be responsible for providing expert technical knowledge in the maintenance of endpoint devices and applications. The goal is to solve and troubleshoot technical issues in the end user support area and manage the resolution process.
Main Responsibilities & Tasks:
End User support Level 1 and 2 for the resolution of incidents encountered in the use of Sartorius Group IT hardware and software
Remote support for employees
Install and deploy standard Sartorius Group software
Replace failed End Point devices
Fulfill access management change requests
Replace and deploy fixed and mobile PCs, and other IT equipment
Purchase of End Point devices and their accessories
Manage the technical documentation of non-standard local HelpDesk procedures (configuration of clients, troubleshooting, and software deployment)
Document non-standard users oriented procedures
Logistics management of IT equipment
Inventory management of End Point devices including accessories, spare parts, etc.
Qualification & Skills:
Graduate in Information Technology or a comparable qualification
3 years of working experience in IT End User Support
Good competency level covering a wide range of IT skills and disciplines that are needed for 1st and 2nd level support
Windows operating system experience with knowledge of the Windows registry, file and folder security, local/domain user security, and operating system troubleshooting
Familiarity and understanding of Active Directory
Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix team setting as well as independently with minimal error and guidance
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
ITIL Foundation certification is preferred
Familiarity and experience in using an ITSM tool
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Fluent in English
