IT Support Specialist

Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our growing team in India. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining network infrastructure. The IT Support Specialist will work closely with other members of our IT team to ensure that our systems and technology are running smoothly and efficiently. This is a permanent position, and work-from-home arrangements are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end-users, both remotely and in person
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including operating systems, applications, and network connectivity
• Maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
• Document and track issues and resolutions using a help desk system
• Collaborate with other members of the IT team to implement new technology and improve existing systems
• Assist with the procurement and installation of hardware and software
• Provide training and support to end-users on new technology and applications

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3-7 years of experience in IT support, with a focus on end-user support and network infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other common business applications
• Knowledge of network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
• Familiarity with help desk systems and ticket tracking
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with others
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide effective solutions
• Experience providing training and support to end-users
• Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, or CompTIA A+ are a plus
