Job Description

Anaqua is seeking a highly motivated IT Support Specialist who is eager to help us expand and maintain our corporate IT organization. This is an exceptional opportunity for the right person to come in and help assist our Tier-1 Helpdesk and our core corporate IT systems. You should be a team player with strong communication skills, attention to detail, strong system administration skills on the Microsoft platform, ability to juggle multiple tasks at once and the ability to prioritize tasks with limited supervision.

The position includes but is not limited to; support of the Anaqua corporate infrastructure, workstation and end-user support, new equipment buildup, active directory management, virus protection management, Windows updates management, email management, corporate security, and corporate IT assets management.

  • Assist with the Tier-1 helpdesk employees activities and workloads
  • Responsible for setup and maintenance of all internal hardware and software for Anaqua s APAC staff (based primarily in Gurgaon, Hyderabad, and Tokyo), including laptops, servers, and office equipment
  • Administer Active Directory, Office 365, Email threat management and SSO solutions
  • Manage patching and endpoint security for all corporate assets
  • Maintain physical infrastructure, telephony systems and core networking equipment
  • Assist with auditing efforts for adhering to our existing ISO 27001 certification and Type 2 SOC 2 assessments
  • Work closely with other IT and Hosting staff worldwide to coordinate and standardize our operational processes
  • Manage and support IT projects as needed, including effective communication with outside vendors and consultants to minimize downtime of supported applications
  • Ensure security protocols are followed in all environments (including user account and password maintenance)
  • Assist with varying security monitoring solutions for incident, breaches and DLP issues
  • Potential to work off hours for critical infrastructure issues, be capable of 24x7 reach if needed

What You ll Need to Be Successful:

  • The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with proven technical skills and comfortable in working in a matrixed organization structure, comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a software vendor with a rapidly expanding customer base, and well-organized and analytical.
  • Bachelor s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
  • 1-4 years experience in a Helpdesk or similar position with a proven troubleshooting and administrative skillset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft technologies (e.g., Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2019/2022, Office 365, Azure) is required
  • Ability to troubleshoot, upgrade, replace or repair hardware components on corporate workstations
  • Solid understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, VPN solutions, VLANs and VoIP technology is required
