The IT Support Manager is responsible for the overall management and support of the company's IT infrastructure, systems, and applications. This includes providing technical leadership, ensuring system availability and reliability, and delivering high-quality support to end users. Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of IT support engineers and technicians.
Design, implement, and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and applications.
Ensure the availability and reliability of all IT systems and services.
Provide timely and effective technical support to end users.
Develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
Manage IT budgets and resources.
Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies.
Collaborate with other IT managers and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of new IT initiatives.
Provide leadership and guidance to the IT team, ensuring that they are meeting the company's needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
17+ years of experience in IT support management.
Strong technical knowledge of servers, networks, storage, and applications.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong customer service skills.
Experience with a variety of IT technologies and platforms.
Additional Skills
Experience with cloud computing technologies, such as AWS or Azure.
Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
Experience with IT security and compliance.
Experience with project management.
