Job Title: IT Support and Development Intern

We are seeking a driven IT Support and Development Intern to join our team. This role provides a unique blend of hands-on IT helpdesk support with the opportunity to apply programming skills on a variety of projects. You will gain real-world experience contributing to our internal systems and web presence.
Responsibilities
- IT Support:
- Assist with the installation and configuration of computer hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot common desktop hardware and software issues.
- Provide basic technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of IT inventory and procedures.
- Web Development and Scripting:
- Collaborate on web development projects using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Create or modify scripts (e.g., with Python) to automate tasks and improve processes.
- Assist with basic website maintenance and updates.
- Contribute to the troubleshooting and testing of web-based tools.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong interest in technology, problem-solving, and learning new technologies.
- Foundational knowledge of:
- Computer hardware and operating systems (Windows, macOS).
- HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Basic programming concepts (ideally with Python or a similar language)
- Knowledge of using Github or similar version control system.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems.
- Familiarity with web frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Prior experience with database concepts.
- Experience with GCP or AWS or Azure.
