- Architecting for the Future: Shaping the trajectory of applications by creating robust architectural solutions across a wide IT portfolio, including ERP, legacy applications, Middleware, Cloud / SaaS, Mobile and Analytics. Your decisions will impact the scalability, performance, and maintainability of these systems.
- Process Evaluation: Evaluating vendors, software, and tools to meet business objectives. This includes assessing their compatibility with existing systems, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with security and compliance standards.
- Effective Communication: Influencing and guiding team members through the Architecture Review Committee. Your ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be essential.
- System Monitoring: Driving IT governance and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for ensuring system performance, availability, and security. Help identify bottlenecks, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement.
- Cost Estimation: A ssessing financial impact of architectural choices, considering factors like infrastructure, licensing, maintenance, and operational expenses.
- Security Compliance: E nsure systems adhere to regulatory standards (such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, or industry-specific guidelines) and follow best practices for data protection.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree or higher in Computer science or related field
AND
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
- 7+ years of Data / Information Architecture / Data Integration experience
- 3-5 years of Architecting ERP Solutions - Oracle / SAP / MS Dynamics
- 3-5 years of Architecting or Implementing Solutions in a Cloud environment (AWS / Azure / Other)
- 2-3 years of Programming using SQL, Java or Python
