Summary
The IT Software/Platform Developer is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of automation and software development solutions supporting Arete's Customer Life Cycle Management Platforms. This role is knowledgeable in systems development life cycle practices and is a key resource supporting the design, development and maintenance of these platforms. The position requires proven experience configuring and administering Power Platform capabilities, including automations, PowerApps, PowerBI, and Dataverse components. The position will also work closely with team members as a point of escalation and to ensure we are providing customers with a high-quality support experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Coordinates and tracks of multiple work streams across multiple engagements
- Assists in the creation of architectural specifications ensuring feasibility, functionality and integration with existing systems and or SaaS platforms
- Participates in the collection and documentation of user requirements, development of users stories and estimates for software, strategic platform and/or COTS
- Participates in the technical design, development, implementation and maintenance of application systems
- Understands and handles our back-end development
- Participates in peer reviews of solution designs, related code and system configurations
- Participates in the investigation and resolution of production management incidents problems and service requests
- Supports production applications and platforms in partnership with SaaS providers
- Identifies innovative solutions for technical challenges
- Creates and maintains required system support and maintenance documentation
- Provides reactive after-hours support when necessary
- Engages in regular career and job responsibility relevant training
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of best practices and developments related to the IT industry and Microsoft Power Platform
- May perform other duties as assigned by management
Skills And Knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform suite
- Experience with .NET Core and backend development
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, AzureDevOps)
- Excellent understanding of application governance, security, and infrastructure
- Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) preferred
Job Requirements
- Associate's degree in computer science, information technology or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 4 to 6 years of experience in software development
- Onsite in Hyderabad 3-4 days per week required
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Demonstrated move-fast mindset as business circumstances change, by quickly orchestrating changes and actively steering the process to a positive outcome
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor
- Strong sense of teamwork and collaboration
