We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled IT Security Manager. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in overseeing Enterprise and Cloud Security at Head Digital Works
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Cloud Security
- Develop, implement, and manage cloud security strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct and drive regular assessments of cloud infrastructure and services to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Assist with strategic planning, driving improvements and providing input on capabilities and methods for cloud security engineering. Drive operational excellence, developing thorough and clear documentation and systems automation.
- Ensure Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) and Cloud Workload Protection Platform (CWPP)
- Security Operations and Incident Management
- Build and design the Security Operations Centre including the deployment and maintenance of security tools, technologies, and processes.
- Develop and maintain security incident response plans and procedures, and coordinate incident response activities as needed.
- Lead incident response efforts during security incidents, including containment, investigation, remediation, and post-incident analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to address security incidents effectively and minimize impact on the organization.
- Enterprise Security
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide security controls, including network security, endpoint security, identity and access management, and data protection measures.
- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents across the organization, ensuring timely detection, response, and resolution of security threats.
- Oversees the deployment and maintenance of security tools, systems, and technologies thereby collaborating with the IT department to ensure continuous monitoring, analysis, and response to potential security incidents.
- Vulnerability Assessment and Management
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts.
- Implement and manage a comprehensive vulnerability management program to remediate and track security issues.
- Team Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Champion strong working relationships with various stakeholders, including IT, finance, legal, compliance, and external auditors, to align with broader organizational objectives.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.
- Manage team tasks and prioritization of work efforts including regular status updates and reporting to leadership.
- Reporting and Communication
- Communicate risks and outages up to management and across lines of defense for remediation.
- Prepare regular reports for executive leadership and relevant committees, providing insights into HDW risk and control status, emerging issues, and recommended actions.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field is must.
- 10-12 years of proven experience in security engineering roles.
- Expertise in cloud security, particularly focused on the primary cloud platform utilized, with proficiency in CSPM, CWPP, and secure configuration.
- In-depth knowledge of Security information and event management (SIEM), defensive security, enterprise and cloud security.
- Experience with security engineering, including the design and implementation of security controls and solutions.
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python.
- Strong understanding of security principles, standards, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of industry-standard security frameworks and regulations.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership experience in guiding security initiatives.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and identify security risks.
