Job Summary:
The IT Sales Head is responsible for leading the sales team, developing and executing strategic sales plans, and achieving sales targets in the IT industry. This role involves managing customer relationships, driving business growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the IT sector, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales management.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales goals and objectives.
Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify business opportunities.
Create sales plans and forecasts to guide the sales team.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities for team members.
Conduct performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as needed.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
Sales Performance and Reporting:
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to track progress and make data-driven decisions.
Prepare and present sales reports to senior management.
Implement and maintain CRM systems to manage customer information and sales activities.
Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets.
Develop and maintain a network of industry contacts.
Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company's products and services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in sales, with at least 1 year in a leadership role in the IT industry.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Experience in managing large sales teams and working in a fast-paced environment.
Skills:
Strong understanding of IT products and services.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
