Experience
2 years of experience in selling software development services.
Responsibilities
- Generate leads and identify potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share for our software development services.
- Manage the end-to-end bidding process on online portals such as Upwork, Freelancer, and others, including proposal creation, submission, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Build and maintain a strong presence on online bidding platforms by regularly updating profiles, portfolios, and reviews to enhance visibility and credibility.
- Identify relevant project opportunities on online portals, analyze requirements, and prepare tailored proposals and bids that showcase our capabilities and value proposition.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including software developers, project managers, and marketing, to ensure alignment of proposals with client needs and company objectives.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and bidding strategies to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of bidding activities, client interactions, and project outcomes using CRM software.
- Provide regular updates and reports on bidding performance, pipeline, and key metrics to sales management and senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in IT sales, with a minimum of 2 years of experience selling software development services or related IT solutions.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, technologies, and industry trends.
- Experience managing bidding activities on online portals such as Upwork, Freelancer, and others.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Results-driven with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets and bidding goals.
- Familiarity with CRM software and online bidding platforms for lead management and project tracking.
