Job Description

Job Title: Technical Recruiter

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead detailed job scope meetings with hiring leaders to determine position specifications, providing relevant market intelligence and recommendations on possible search approaches or candidate requirements.
  • Develop and manage recruitment marketing or sourcing plans to determine the most appropriate candidate sources that align with the search requirements.
  • Evaluate candidate qualifications against position requirements and determine who to move forward with in the recruitment process.
  • Source candidates via resume databases, search engines, job sites and social networking platforms using different searches like Boolean.
  • Solicit and pursue referrals from business networks and/or internal referrals.
  • Evaluate the candidates ability to handle international clients from a communication skills perspective.
  • Review candidates and record their details coming from all sources in ATS
  • Should comply with the companys policies and procedures.

Engaging Candidates

  • Use an appropriate mix of media to connect with talent communities (phone, email, social media, etc.).
  • Articulate value propositions to candidates interested in the job opportunity with respect to rale and organization.
  • Prepare candidates for interviews, coaching them on interview etiquette and overall expectations.
  • Ensure candidates are provided with timely updates concerning the status of their applications and interviews.

Assessing Candidates

  • Draft and utilize phone interview templates appropriate to the job description.
  • Use independent judgment to compare candidate phone interview notes and skills assessments with position requirements to determine if the candidate is a match for the role or a potential match for other open positions.
  • Issue skills testing as needed and evaluate results.

Influencing The Hire

  • Keep candidates engaged throughout the process, ensuring consistent communication on the status of the search.
  • Partner with the hiring leader to determine offer details, using market data and compensation guidelines to support recommendations.
  • Articulate job offers to candidates and drive for candidate acceptance, anticipating and negotiating counter-offers as appropriate.

Service Excellence

  • Strict adherence to all regulations.
  • Work to deliver a strong candidate slate, continuously building talent pipelines to ensure multiple qualified candidates are in play at all times.
  • Provide accurate and regular reporting of recruiting activities to the hiring leader and leadership to depict both metrics and efforts.
  • Identify perceived difficulties with searches & research and recommend solutions to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively and regularly communicate the status of each search to the hiring leader, providing a consultative approach with recommendations on how to move forward.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Must be working in a or recently worked (if not employed) for a product company
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Technical Recruitment is mandatory
  • Must have experience in recruiting for Cloud technologies, including roles related to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud in India.
  • Must have Hands-On experience in Outbound Sourcing via LinkedIn
  • A strong grasp of IT technologies is a MUST

Working Days: 5 days/week

Mode of Work: Hybrid

Maximum Notice Period: 30 Days
