Job Description
nFastenal India is looking for an IT QA Engineer for FMIP project. This individual will be involved primarily on backend REST API Testing and Web application testing.

nRole Description:
- nCreate detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test scenarios, test cases & test strategies.
- nAnalyze and Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide valid feedback's and appropriate estimates.
- nAbility to prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities with scrum team.
- nIdentify, record, document thoroughly in test management, defect & project management tool.
- nAbility to perform Sanity, regression, SIT & UAT executions on various environments as when required.
- nWell versed with testing process to apply in Agile/Scrum framework.
- nCollaborate with internal & external teams with good communication and soft skills to make sprint deliverables with smooth transition and achieve team goals and objectives
- nDisplay techno functional abilities to assist development team in debugging and capture the events to pinpoint the issues.
- nStay up to date with new testing tools & Techniques and flexible enough to apply and adopt test strategies & process.

nRequirements & Desired Skills:
- nProven work experience in backend REST-API & Web application testing
- nStrong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- nExperience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- nGood experience in using SVN, JIRA & Confluence.
- nGood work experience in ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) or any Test Management Tool
- nExperience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test scenarios and test cases
- nHands-on experience with both functional and non-functional testing
- nHands-on experience with automated testing tools is a Plus
- nSolid knowledge of SQL and usage
- nKnowledge on MuleSoft-API testing is a Plus
- nExperience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
- nExperience on Supply chain domain is desirablen
- Sound interpersonal and team working skills

Qualifications:
- nMasters/bachelor's degree in computer science or similar curriculum background is preferred
n2-4 years of relevant experience
