Position: Advisor, IT Infrastructure

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain storage technologies including Unity Powermax/Vmax, Isilon, and App sync.
- Configure and troubleshoot network switches such as Cisco and Brocade.
- Administer and optimize VMware environments.
- Oversee operating systems including Unix and Windows.
- Implement ITIL best practices and processes.
- Provide strategic advice on IT infrastructure improvements and initiatives.
- Ensure high availability and performance of IT systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet organizational goals.
- Provide training and support to junior IT staff.
Qualifications:
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with storage technologies like Unity Powermax/Vmax, Isilon, and App sync.
- Proficiency with network switches including Cisco and Brocade.
- Strong experience with VMware administration.
- Comprehensive understanding of Unix and Windows operating systems.
- ITIL certification or thorough knowledge of ITIL processes.
- 5-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
