Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator with 5 years of industry experience to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our software, hardware, and networks. The individual should be able to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues and ensure our IT infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.

• Maintain and support virtual environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Deploy and securely manage cloud environments such as AWS or Azure
• Administer servers and perform regular backups, disaster recovery, and high-availability operations.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks.
• Improve system performance and reliability through regular updates and optimizations.
• Provide Level 2/3 support and resolve issues related to system performance, hardware, and software.
• Manage Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, and group policy administration, O365 Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Assist in the onboarding/offboarding of users, including account setups and deactivations.
• Experience withmonitoring systems(e.g., PRTG, CloudWatch, or Zabbix).
• Ensure systems are compliant with industry standards such as ISO 27001 and GDPR.
• Administration of Microsoft SCCM/Intune is an advanatage
• Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity by implementing and testing recovery plans.
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, diagrams, and processes.
• Participate in on-call support rotation and respond to system-related emergencies outside of regular business hours.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance system performance and security.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role for at least 5 years.
• Strong knowledge of system and network administration, including Linux/Windows server environments.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS and Azure.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Relevant certifications such asMicrosoft Certified: Azure Administrator,AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, orCompTIA Network+are preferred
