About The Position

The IT Demand & Delivery PMO Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Project Management Office (PMO) functions, ensuring efficient delivery of IT projects and programs across our international operations. This role requires a strong understanding of global IT practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work across different time zones and cultures. This role will support IT and Business stakeholders across the UK, US, Europe, and Africa, playing a crucial part in our global IT operations.
So, what does it take to be successful in this role
- PMO Leadership and Process Management: Establish and maintain PMO processes, methodologies, and governance frameworks. Ensure efficient demand management, resource allocation, risk management, and alignment of IT projects with business objectives, driving continuous improvement within the PMO.
- Project and Portfolio Oversight: Manage a global IT project portfolio, overseeing project delivery, performance monitoring, budget management, and resource utilization. Facilitate communication across diverse, multi-cultural teams and stakeholders, ensuring timely project completion.
- Qualifications and Certifications: A Bachelor's degree in IT or related fields (Master's preferred), with 8-10 years of IT project management experience, including at least 5 years in PMO leadership. Certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are required, with ITIL certification being desirable.
- Skills and Experience: Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills, proficiency in project management tools, and in-depth understanding of IT infrastructure. Experience managing IT projects in a global, fast-paced, multinational environment (preferably FMCG), and fluency in English, with additional language skills being a plus.
