About The Role
Reckitt are on a journey to improve General IT Controls (GITCs) across our enterprise, primarily to support UK SOX regulations which we will need to adhere to by 2026. The IT&D Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations will be responsible for ensuring the IT CC&G strategy and operations provide robust and efficient testing of IT general controls assurance across Reckitt to support our SOX 2026 requirements.
You will work with our IT, business, and external partners, to build our short and long-term strategy, as well as develop and track operational and financial key metrics to meet our overall goal of being UK SOX standard.
Your responsibilities
- Support IT&D Director in Quarterly Organisation, Risk & Control Review. This includes financial review/tracking as well as IT CC&G component team portfolio/deliverables over the quarter. Highlight risks to delivery.
- Develop/update team mission statement, goals, objectives and KPI's along with timelines for achievement. Maintain/build 3-5 year glidepath with overall goal and key deliverables from IT CC&G component teams to achieve.
- Responsible for the CC&G team delivery scorecard. Update at a minimum monthly. Amend as new requests / priorities emerge. Flag risks to delivery as early as possible and propose mitigation plans after working with the respective team. Develop/update/maintain team KPI's. Build overarching IT CC&G S&O BI dashboard for delivery scorecard. Incorporate each component team key dashboards so everything is in one place.
- Build out IT&D schedule of key milestones and timelines across IT CC&G, including interdependencies with component teams and external teams. Track and communicate when risk to delivery. Support BAU Senior Manager with external SOW development for 3rd party assurance testing. Track 3rd part deliverables including financials.
The experience we're looking for
- Overall 12+ years of experience with strong background in transformation, portfolio, project management, demand management, resource and capacity management and benefits management.
- Strong business and controls acumen with experience in governance and portfolio management.
- Relevant degree qualification desired (in a science or IT subject or related discipline).
- You willhave, or be working towards certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, cloud security, or similar.
- 5-7 years gained within healthcare/pharma/FMCG industries with experience of working within internal/external IT controls function.
- Ability to work at a strategic level, whilst maintaining project/operational level oversight.
- Experience of managing a multi-skilled IT team including recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and training where necessary.
- You will have a general understanding of SOX and how general (technical) IT controls should work across applications, infrastructure, and utility tools.
