About The Role
The Data and Analytics (D&A) team is at the heart of our digital transformation, empowering our markets with advanced data insights and analytics. Our team encompasses six key areas: Platform & Architecture, Data Science, Data Engineering, Data Visualization, Governance, and Strategy & Operations.
Your responsibilities
- Platform Ownership: Strategically aligning our global data platform's roadmap with the latest technical advancements and business needs, ensuring the delivery of cutting-edge capabilities.
- Agile Leadership: Leading an agile squad of engineers to enhance core platform capabilities, manage the backlog, and prioritize effectively to meet critical business goals.
- Strategic Planning: Crafting a clear vision and strategy document that outlines our approach to advancing our data capabilities in alignment with global organizational objectives.
- Performance Measurement: Establishing objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the data platform to track success and impact on real-world business outcomes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Working closely with platform users, including engineering squads and product owners, to gather needs, feedback, and ensure the platform remains aligned with business operations.
- Technical Partnership: Collaborating with technical teams like solution architecture to balance business objectives with technical excellence, maintaining the highest data platform standards.
- Compliance and Strategy: Leading efforts to ensure the platform adheres to all relevant privacy and security policies, safeguarding company and customer data.
The experience we're looking for
- 13+ years of relevant experience in Data & AI related roles with proven expertise in building Data Platforms.
- A solid foundation in computer science or a related quantitative field. Equivalent professional experience is also highly valued.
- Proven experience as a product manager, particularly in customer engagement and roadmap development.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure / GCP) and specific experience with Databricks.
- Hands-on experience with data platforms, including SQL, FinOps practices, data observability, and MLOps.
- Leadership experience with a minimum of 5 direct reports, demonstrating successful team management and agile project delivery.
