IT Consultant:
inecta is seeking a full-time IT Consultant to join our global company! This is a fully remote opportunity, and the role can be located anywhere in India (preferably in Delhi/NCR) . This role is purely a night shift role.
Candidate should be ready for permanent night shift- 7PM IST to 3:30 AM IST
Key Responsibilities
Cloud and Security Management
- Azure Platform Management: Oversee and manage Azure cloud services, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
- MFA and Azure AD: Implement and manage Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Azure Active Directory (AD) for enhanced security.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Perform routine monitoring and maintenance of systems, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Audit Logs: Conduct day-to-day monitoring of audit logs to detect and respond to security incidents.; working to proactively communicate with our customers on price increases.
User Support and Troubleshooting
- Support Requests: Respond to and resolve internal users support requests promptly, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- User Communication: Contact internal users to diagnose and understand the nature of their problems.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Address and resolve complex hardware and software issues efficiently.
Vendor and Service Provider Coordination
- IT Asset Delivery: Coordinate with vendors for the delivery and management of IT assets.
- Service Providers: Work with service providers to raise and track support tickets, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Documentation and Communication
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for IT processes, configurations, and procedures.
- Communication: Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in interactions with internal users and external partners.
Software and Hardware Advisory
- Upgrades: Advise on and coordinate software and hardware upgrades, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
- Technical Advice: Provide recommendations on IT solutions and improvements based on current trends and best practices.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience of 3 to 5 years as an IT Consultant or similar role, with a strong background in Azure, MFA, Azure AD, PowerShell, and Windows operating systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, troubleshooting complex IT issues, and day-to-day system monitoring.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Office 365 admin portal, SQL Server, Docker, and Navision/Business Central is preferred.
- Certifications: Microsoft Azure certification (AZ-104) is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to solve complex hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Education: College or University degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
