The IT Cloud Management Analyst Sr. 1 is responsible for defining the process for managing RSM s cloud platform assets. This person is responsible for delivering cloud platform resource metrics KPIs for LOBs, FGs and IT. Their primary function is to provide both technical and executive-level recommendations for cost optimization.
Provides guidance and support for stakeholders and executives related to cloud and platform optimization efforts in partnership with other IT infrastructure and system administration teams.
Builds and maintains a standardized approach for resource use recommendations. Seeks and leverages feedback from stakeholders to guarantee continued success. Defines and communicates KPIs to stakeholders and leadership.
Actively seeks technical education to better understand cloud and platform resource options as we'll as maintaining up-to-date technical acumen.
Works with business, functional group and IT stakeholders to understand cloud and platform-based demands; provides guidance based on the changing needs of the business.
Advises and coaches other cloud management analysts, as needed.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
Microsoft certification AZ-900 required
Microsoft certification AZ-104 preferred
Equivalent experience will be considered
TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS
Experience with a cloud resource management tool (CloudHealth, Cloudability, CloudZero, etc) required
CloudHealth experience preferred
Microsoft Azure experience required
Excellent Microsoft Office skills required
Strong analytical skills and demonstrated problem solving skills required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team required
High degree of professionalism required
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
ServiceNow acumen preferred
EXPERIENCE
6 to 8 years of experience in IT cloud resource and cost management or like discipline in a large-scale technology environment required
Cloud architecture or engineering experience preferred
