Job Roles and Responsibilities
- Formulate & Implement BI COE standards and best practices for report development for all the BI Tools (Power BI, Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Cognos and Bobj)
- Partner closely with Data Scientists in assessing, developing, and implementing new predictive models and advanced analytical solutions.
- Design and develop BI reports by implementing Governance methodology to improve report load/extract times and achieve maximum performance.
- Provide front line support to customers when needed as part of helping them in improving report performance.
- Refine and automate processes, track issues, and document changes.
- Help customers in identifying the right type of BI tool based on their business needs.
- Develop and help customers with Advanced Analytics data models. What you will have
- seeking a Data Visualization Engineer with Overall 7+ years of experience in IT field
- 3+ years of experience in Report design and development along with supporting highly complex BI applications of strategic or functional importance including integration with data sources.
- Developing highly automated data refresh processes; best-in-class data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that communicate critical insights to drive decision making.
- 3+ years of experience in relational database design, data modelling, and structured query language (SQL)
- Experience in multiple business processes or organizations and experience in multiple IT disciplines is also beneficial.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, teamwork, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal and influential skills with high degree of customer focus
- Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, conceptualization and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as being a collaborative team member.
- Able to manage own duties including setting priorities.
- Having good knowledge of Client's policies, standards, and procedures, with broad understanding of Caterpillar's organization is a plus. Top Candidates will have:
