The IT Administrator will be responsible for managing and supporting the companys IT systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and a thorough understanding of IT operations and best practices.
Job Description (Primary Job roles are:)
- System Administration: Manage and maintain servers, networks, and related infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Network Management: Monitor network performance, ensure network security, and resolve connectivity issues.
- Security: Implement and enforce security policies, conduct regular security audits, and manage firewalls, antivirus, and other security tools.
- User Support: Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues promptly.
- Backup and Recovery: Oversee data backup processes and ensure data recovery solutions are in place and tested regularly.
- Software Management: Install, update, and manage software applications and licenses.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems, configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors for hardware and software procurement, maintenance, and supports
TECHNICAL KOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- Educational Qualification & Experience: Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT administration or a similar role.
- Professional Qualification:
-Proficiency with Windows and Linux server environments.
-Strong understanding of network protocols, LAN/WAN management, and IP routing.
-Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
-Knowledge of cloud services (Azure).
-Office 365 Administration
-Strong knowledge in CCTV devices
-Familiarity with IT security best practices and tools.
