One person can develop native apps for both Android and iOS (I do), but you need to learn twice as much as developing for just one platform (e.g. different languages, IDEs and APIs), so its a challenge. To be an average developer on both is achievable. To be an expert on both is much harderAn iOS developer is responsible for developing applications for mobile devices powered by Apple's iOS operating system. Ideally, a good iOS developer is proficient with one of the two programming languages for this platform: Objective-C or Swift.
