We are looking for an Investment Banking Analyst to join the MACA Partners team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the analysis and execution of investment banking advisory transactions across various industries. Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential acquisition targets and potential buyers/investors
- Develop and build complex financial models to analyze the financial performance of potential targets and simulate deal structures
- Prepare pitch books, teasers, and other marketing materials for the firm's clients
- Assist in the due diligence process, including drafting memos and review of legal documents
- Coordinate with external advisors, including legal teams, accountants, and valuation experts
- Attend client meetings and participate in negotiations with potential buyers and investors
- Supervise and train analysts
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all dealings with clients, colleagues, and external parties
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or similar
- 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance or a related field
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
