Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated Internet Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting internet service for residential and commercial customers. This role requires strong technical skills, customer service abilities, and a commitment to ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation: Set up and install internet services, including routers, modems, and networking equipment.

Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to internet connectivity, including signal problems and hardware malfunctions.

Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks and upgrades on network equipment.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and repairs.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols while working at heights or in confined spaces.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and other departments to ensure service quality.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.

Experience in telecommunications or networking is a plus.

Strong understanding of internet technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
