Job Overview:
The International Sales Manager is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with international clients, ensuring seamless product delivery, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. This role involves overseeing existing client accounts, handling new customer onboarding, securing approvals from hospitality groups, managing logistics coordination, and driving new business development. The position also requires data management, reporting, and working closely with the Director of International Business on various assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management:
- Manage existing international client accounts.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with international clients.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues to ensure satisfaction.
2. New Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the international market.
- Develop and implement strategies for acquiring new clients and expanding market presence.
3. Hospitality Industry Engagement:
- Work on securing approvals from different hospitality groups such as Accor, Radisson, Wyndham, and others.
- Generating new leads and contacting leads provided by Hospitality groups for new business opportunities.
- Prepare and manage quarterly reports for various hospitality groups.
4. Coordination & Logistics:
- Coordinate with logistics, production, quality, and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.
- Review all export documentation to ensure compliance with international trade laws and regulations.
5. Reporting, Forecasting & Data Management:
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to senior management.
- Manage and maintain client data in HubSpot, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date records.
- Use HubSpot to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and generate insights for strategy development.
6. Additional Responsibilities:
- Work on any other assignments related to the role as provided by the Management.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum Graduate degree in Business Administration, International Business, Commerce or Marketing; higher in MBA related with an International Business is a plus.
- Proficient in English. Any other language is a plus
- 5 years or more of experience in International Business, preferably related to Hospitality Supplies.
- Experience in international sales, account management, or export operations.
- Hospitality sales experience, including selling to groups like Accor, Radisson, Wyndham, and other hospitality groups, is required.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations and export documentation.
- Experience in CRM tools like HubSpot.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
