Purpose of the role:

The purpose of the International Business Development & Sales Specialist at Pharma Solutions is to drive revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities in the global pharmaceutical sector. This role is crucial in establishing and nurturing relationships with international clients, understanding their specific needs, and providing customized turnkey project solutions. By conducting comprehensive market research, generating leads, and executing effective sales strategies, the specialist will contribute to expanding Pharma Solutions market presence and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. Additionally, the role aims to foster long-term client relationships, enhance customer satisfaction, and explore new geographic regions or market segments for business expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and understand market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in the pharmaceutical sector.

Generate leads and develop new business opportunities by establishing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations.

Engage with clients to understand their requirements, provide product demonstrations, and propose tailored turnkey project solutions that meet their needs.

Prepare comprehensive proposals, including project scope, timelines, costs, and deliverables, in collaboration with internal technical and project management teams.

Lead negotiation efforts to secure favorable terms and contracts with clients, ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability targets.

Drive the sales process from initial contact to contract closure, ensuring smooth handover to project execution teams while meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Foster long-term relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service, addressing concerns promptly, and seeking opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.

Continuously explore and pursue opportunities to expand the company's presence in new geographic regions or market segments within the pharmaceutical industry.

Communicate with international prospects, develop any understanding of any cultural or legal differences in the market, and often travel overseas to make sales

Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, engineering, and project management, to leverage resources and expertise in delivering successful turnkey projects to clients.

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including pipeline management, sales forecasts, and performance metrics, and provide regular updates to management using CRM tool.

Required Experience, Qualifications & Skills:

Any graduate. Master's degree is preferred.

Minimum of 5+ years of experience and must have at least 2-3 years experience in international sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on turnkey project solutions.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive B2B environment.

Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulations, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers at all levels.

Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities.

Ability to travel internationally as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
