Full job description:
Develop audit plans based on the company's quality management system (QMS), regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Determine the scope, objectives, and criteria for audits.
Perform internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards, procedures, and regulations.
Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of quality management systems.
Review documents, records, and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Identify areas of non-compliance or deviations from quality standards.
Document findings and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
Investigate root causes of non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Provide guidance and training to employees on quality standards and procedures.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes and systems.
Stay updated on relevant quality standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
Ensure that the company's quality management system aligns with regulatory requirements.
Prepare for and participate in external audits conducted by regulatory agencies or certification bodies.
Communicate audit findings, recommendations, and outcomes to management and other stakeholders.
Prepare audit reports detailing observations, conclusions, and recommendations for improvement.
Follow up on corrective actions and verify their effectiveness.
Assess risks associated with quality issues and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Monitor key quality indicators and trends to anticipate potential problems.
Evaluate the quality performance of suppliers and subcontractors.
Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
Work with suppliers to address quality issues and improve performance.
Maintain accurate records of audit activities, findings, and corrective actions.
Ensure that documentation complies with regulatory standards and internal procedures.
