As a Public Relations intern, you will play a key role in supporting communications and public relations efforts. This position offers hands-on experience in crafting messaging, engaging with media outlets, and promoting brands.
Role Responsibilities :
- Assist in drafting press releases, media advisories, and other PR related materials.
- Support the planning and execution of media outreach campaigns.
- Conduct research on industry trends, policies, and relevant news to assist with media strategies.
- Maintain and update media contact lists, ensuring accurate information for outreach.
- Help coordinate and monitor PR activities, including media coverage and press events.
- Assist in the creation of social media content that aligns with the client s messaging.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for PR campaigns.
- Support the development of internal communication materials, including newsletters and memos.
- Track media coverage and assist in preparing media reports for the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, clinical staff, and external agencies.
Educational Qualifications :
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and social media platforms.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
