Job Description:
The Software Engineer is responsible for the verification of library software to support and control ICs manufactured by Microchip AIS, the development and maintenance of test setups used for testing the library and for the documentation of test results.
Building up and maintaining a test infrastructure, PC based and/or embedded
Documentation of the test infrastructure
Specification and implementation of automated software tests
Execution of software tests and documentation of test results
Failure analysis, bug reporting and bug tracking
The candidate should have a BE or equivalent degree in Electronics or allied branches
Professional experience / Very good experience in software development
Experience in specifying test cases and software testing
Professional experience / Good knowledge of the C/C++ programming language
Experience in object-oriented programming (OOP)
Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux)
Knowledge about SW development on Linux OS
Excellent knowledge of English language (reading and writing)
Good expertise in Python
Knowledge about automotive networking is an advantage

Requirements/Qualifications:
M.Tech (preferably ECE or CSE) required.
