This AI and Cybersecurity intern position is in the Info-Sec internal engineering team. The intern will work on integrating AI capabilities into our in-house applications, with a focus on leveraging our data lake backend.
About the role - you will:
- Work with a team to develop a web UI that allows queries of a data lake
- Work with Amazon AI tool chain to develop a chatbot to submit queries based on natural language input
- Implement role-based authentication in the app and the chatbot
About you:
- Interest in AI and Cybersecurity
- Self-driven personality who can work with moderate level of supervision and direction
- Enthusiastic and quick learner with good verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, planning, and organizational skills
Your experience includes:
- A good understanding of AI principles, machine learning algorithms, and database / datalake concepts.
- Comfortable with programming languages commonly used in AI and data science, such as Python or R.
- Familiarity with data lakes and Amazon AI tool chain
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles, tools, operating systems (Windows / Linux), and computing devices
- Proficiency in one or more of the following-JSON, XML, HTML, SQL
