We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Site Supervisor to oversee and manage construction activities at our project sites. The Site Supervisor will ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of construction processes and safety protocols.
On-site Supervision:- Oversee daily operations at the construction site.
Ensure all work is performed by plans, specifications, and quality standards.- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and site staff.
Monitor and enforce safety regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment.- Schedule and coordinate site activities to avoid delays and ensure efficient workflow.
Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly.
Inspect work in progress to ensure conformity with design specifications and quality standards.- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare inspection reports.
Identify and rectify any deviations from plans or specifications.
Manage and allocate resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment.- Ensure the availability of necessary materials and equipment on-site.
Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, reports, and timesheets.
- Communication and Reporting:
Maintain open and effective communication with project managers, clients, and team members.- Provide regular progress updates to project managers and other relevant stakeholders.
Prepare and submit site reports and documentation as required.
High school diploma or equivalent; degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry.
In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.- Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and blueprints.
Excellent leadership and organizational skills.- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.
OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) certification preferred.- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
The role involves working on construction sites, often in varying weather conditions.- Ability to stand, walk, and navigate construction sites for extended periods.
Must be able to lift and carry materials and equipment as needed.
