Job Overview
We are seeking an Interior Project Engineer to join our team at Sahanas Creations, a leading interior design and architectural firm with 23+ years of experience. As an Interior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing interior design projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This is a full-time position based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma in civil engineering, or a related field
- Junior: 1 to 3 years of experience in interior design or project management
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and MS Project
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- SHOULD HAVE HANDLED OFFICE AND COMMERCIAL PROJECTS
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee interior design projects from conception to completion
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
- Create project schedules, budgets, and timelines
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure materials and resources are available on time
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Review and approve design plans, drawings, and specifications
- Conduct site visits to inspect the progress and quality of work
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns
- Maintain documentation of project activities, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence
