Job Overview
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Interior Draftsman to join our team. As an Interior Draftsman, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for interior design projects. This is a full-time position based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design or related field
- 1 to 3 years of experience as an Interior Draftsman or similar role
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans based on interior design concepts
- Collaborate with interior designers and architects to ensure accuracy and functionality of designs
- Prepare and update project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Communicate and coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Review and revise drawings to address any issues or changes during the construction phase
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in design software and technology
