Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our team at Modern Muse Designs. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces for our clients. This is a full-time position with a focus on residential projects. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in interior design and possess strong technical skills.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
- Proven experience of 1 to 3 years in residential interior design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray, and other design software
- Strong knowledge of space planning, color schemes, and material selection
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to translate clients requirements into realistic design concepts
- Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Good project management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of construction methods and building regulations
- Familiarity with 3D rendering and working drawings

Roles and Responsibilities
- Create innovative and functional interior design concepts for residential projects
- Produce detailed drawings, plans, and 3D models using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and V-Ray
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert advice on design options
- Select appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings to achieve the desired aesthetic
- Prepare working drawings and specifications for construction and renovation projects
- Manage multiple projects concurrently while ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and other professionals involved in the execution of projects
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new materials to enhance design capabilities
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including design plans, contracts, and invoices
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and health and safety standards
